Well you made it this far drinking milk – have a job and everything…so unless it makes you sick when you drink it don’t stop. Milk is not bad for you unless it makes you sick
It has a highish fat content, but if you don’t drink it you won’t have enough calcium in your body and that could cause a lot of serious problems.
what, he said it was bad for you? no, milk is good for you, it helps bone groth and keeps them strong along with your teeth, unless you have been drinking off milk, then that would be bad for you
No, of course not. It’s actually good for you. But too much milk can be bad. For example, I always get sick if I drink too much of it.
It may be bad for you if your lactose intolerant, you’ll know this when you drink milk and you have to use the bathroom a lot or your stomach hurts frequently, but only when you drink milk.. But no milk is actually quite healthy.. When it’s not rotten…
I heard it is too. Too much can make you constipated at least that is what I heard form nanny 911. I guess to much of anything is bad.
maybe if your lactose intolerant, but last time I checked, milk was one of the best things for your body.
It’s not the milk that is bad for you it’s the steroids and antibiotics that are in the feed fed to the cows. Find organic chemical-free dairy.
Humans are the only animal that drinks milk after we have been weaned from our mothers. All the chemicals that are given to cows are in the milk we get.
No, it is not bad for you. That’s a bit of new agey bunk pushed by the organic food industry. Of course, you should make sure that like everything it’s taken in moderation.
I tend to doubt it. I have been drinking about 4 gallons a week most of my life. I did cut down to skim milk though.
Milk is a two edged sword.
In small amounts it is Ok. The more processed, the worse it is. Homogenized pasteurized milk is the worse for you. It is flash boiled, so most of the nutrition is gone, which is why they have to add it back in. The protein structures are also changed. The benefits of this? It lasts longer on the shelves and is sterile.
Unprocessed, raw milk is actually good for you in moderation. The downside? There is a risk of getting contaminants in it. These can make you sick, contrary to what the pro-raw milk people say.
The net gain of calcium from milk is negligible.
There are many people who are lactose intolerant. Milk is not a natural food for us to include in our diet. I don’t go for the acid/alkaline diet, as your stomach is naturally acidic, and your blood naturally buffers even slight changes in pH. If these changes weren’t buffered, you would die when you ate one of these “acidic” foods.
There are no proven health benefits (other than those paid for by the dairy associations) to milk consumption. I don’t think it is as dangerous as people claim either. Consuming it in moderation won’t hurt you. Not eating it all all won’t hurt you either.
Milk is only bad for you if it is all you drink all day every day. it has many good effects like calcium. but consuming too much of something has bad consequences.
It isn’t bad for you, but it isn’t always good either. There are various health reasons milk might not be good for some people.
I also got the same comment from a friend, she says milk is bad. Well, for me milk is not bad. In fact, it’s a huge source of calcium. However, some people are lactose intolerant so they refuse to drink milk.
