We have become accustomed to salty and sweet tasting foods because that is what most processed foods have in them, therefore, we crave them.

I would assume because most healthy foods have very little to no sugar in them and all the delicious foods have a lot of sugar in them, it’s the sugar mainly that gives foods and drinks taste.

Unhealthy food has sugar, and I mean a lot!!!! And healthy food has like maybe a centimeter of sugar on it.

Vegetables have sugar, the problem is they lose their sugar content very quick. Corn as soon as it is picked looses a large percentage of sugar. If you had a garden, like a small backyard garden, you’d be surprises at the difference in taste of fresh picked vegetables and store bought ones shipped a long distance. I was surprised at how good and sweet a red beet was, just plucked from the ground.

That’s just your opinion. My guess is because you’ve become accustomed to loads of salt, sugar and fake flavors. I personally find it the opposite

Our tongues are more attracted to more sugary, spicy or sour foods, right? There are sugars, spices and sour tastes, but they are all natural, so you tongue may or may not be used to the tastes of healthy foods. It honestly depends if your used to junk food or a health craze kinda person. I personally love healthy foods, like salads!

They’re unhealthy because we eat too much of them.

(causal fallacy)

It could be some of the ingredients, maybe? One time I heard on the news of this one Chinese restaurant (in an area saturated with Chinese restaurants) that always had a waiting line going around the block, while the others hardly had any business. It turns out they were adding a dash of secret powder (opium) to all the recipes. LoL!! (I think that’s how MSG’s work, too?)

It’s the amount of sugar and MSG in everything. & spicy food isn’t unhealthy, wtf?

I think exactly as you do. So I eat whatever I want when I want. That’s just me.. Don’t follow my example though. I am healthy but you never know what’s around the corner.

You have no idea what healthy food tastes like. When I was a kid they hadn’t yet learned to remix milk, so you could taste the flavor of the grass they were feeding the cows. We raised chickens in the back yard and there was a pronounced difference between light meat and dark meat. Now you can’t tell one from the other by taste or color. And anybody who has grown tomatoes or veggies at home will tell you the difference is amazing.
