I know the best way !! If you have a friend in another time zone you can talk to till fall asleep or is always there when you wake up in middle of night and can call at 3am cos is only 9pm there then you’ll sleep so very much better 🙂 or warm milk.
I used to have trouble sleeping, then I starting doing deep breathing. You close your eyes and take very slow deep breaths. Try to clear your mind, focus just on the breathing, then next thing you know, you’re waking up the next morning 🙂
lavender essential oils or room spray, melatonin, warm bath before bed, no stimuli 20 min before you want to try and start falling asleep.
Classic rock blaring through my ear buds helps me forget that soft piano stuff get classic rock going
Take a hot bath with lavender or spear mint bath salts, Then have a bedtime snack (Half a banana, Warm milk and a few nuts) after that I suggest that you take a melatonin which I take every night !!! ….. MUSIC DOES NOT HELP EVERYONE BTW ****
Some tea. Ocean, rain, or waterfall sound affects from a smartphone will do. listening to music, but not fast paced. Or just think about all the times that you are really tired and just wish you could lay down.. helps me.
Let’s see, deep breathing, counting sheep, music, snacks, warm bath, herbal tea, pills (actually needed), picture a room and walk through it while imagining every detail the way that it is. Counting very slowly, reading, and praying. I’m sure there are many more, but these are just some that help me. Oh yeah, and spelling a word over and over, or saying times tables, or repeating the periodic table or listening to white noise sounds, relaxing perfumes, running around, lolz, I could go on forever. I hope this helped!
Warm milk and calcium pills at bed time. Calcium is nature’s relaxer. There is no overdose and the only side effect is strong bones.
try listening to a relaxation meditation recording ..if you Google it some from Jody Whiteley should come up, they
put me right to sleep
