I have a very stuffy nose, what can I do to help this?

Its back in allergy season and for me, that means bring out the tissues. I always have a runny nose or stuffy nose, but this year is worse. At night, I have a VERY stuffed nose and at day I have a nose that is running like it is training for a marathon! I do try medicine, but that just makes it worse. Can anyone relate or help me?

I use nose strips at night, they work great. Maybe your Physician can give you a stronger non drowsy medication to dry you up during the day. Good luck.

Checkout air cleaner for your room, whole house would be better. I bought one for the living room and one for the bedroom, what a HUGE difference they have made.

Here are a few styles:

saline nasil irrigation, a salt water flush in a Nettie pot not a saline spray. the salt water will flush your nasal passages of the allergins & also shrink swollen membranes. do it twice a day.. you can buy a kit in the drug store. many people find it helpful.. the Chinese have been doing this for over 5000 years! it may work for you… good luck!

Nasal spray. 1/2 water 1/2 collodial silver. 2 drops of peppermint.
Works great for me.
Also the homeopathic by Hylands, Allium CEPA. little pills you dissolve under your tongue.
Gentle facial massage to break the mucus out.
If you do any before bed give it at least half an hour to drain before you hit the sack or it will not be able to clear beforehand.
